Laser show - [Ääniwalli club, Helsinki]
Live / Ääniwalli, Helsinki
Taking their audiovisual experiments abroad, the artists delivered a striking laser and electronic music performance at Ääniwalli, Helsinki’s premier industrial techno venue.
The work
The harsh, utilitarian architecture of the Finnish club was completely transformed by thick, caustic planes of blue laser light. These sweeping digital waves traced the concrete walls and ceilings, reacting in real-time to the duo's heavy electronic live set.
In detail
The immersive light architecture created an overwhelming sense of spatial dislocation within the brutalist club environment.
