Light installation / rattan sculpture
Helix Root / Aurora Media Park
Aurora Media Park, Nuanu, Bali, Indonesia
A three-dimensional spiral of rattan and light at Aurora Media Park. Hand-woven by Balinese artisans, Helix Root glows from within as LEDs pulse red, purple and silver.
Woven light
Created with DELIVERED., the installation combines a hand-woven structure with programmed LED light. The spiral’s material surface remains part of the work as its illumination changes.
Aurora Media Park
Helix Root is one of the permanent installations along Nuanu’s outdoor art trail. Its illuminated, branching form connects the sculptural object to the surrounding jungle.
