AV Live - Zagranica underground club, Moscow]
Zagranica Live / Audiovisual Performance
This early 2018 live appearance at the Zagranica underground club in Moscow captures the foundational elements of the Broken Composers' aesthetic.
The work
The extremely intimate, low-ceilinged space was saturated in a heavy, aggressive red glow. The visual documentation shows a shadowy figure manipulating live electronic hardware, while another plays a transverse flute, merging organic breath with distorted synthetic frequencies.
In detail
The claustrophobic environment and raw energy of the performance highlight the duo’s roots in the city's uncompromising DIY electronic music scene.
