AV Live - NUR festival [Werk club, Kazan]

Live / NUR Festival

2021

Staged within the brutalist industrial architecture of the Werk venue, this audiovisual live set was part of the night program for the 2021 NUR media art festival in Kazan.

Light, body and sound

The performance immersed the space in a thick, claustrophobic fog pierced by deep red coherent light. Broken Composers delivered a highly physical set, contrasting live controller manipulation with an aggressive plastic performance by a figure concealed in a faceless mask.

The live set

The harsh electronic textures and blinding laser fields created an atmosphere of pure tension and sonic release.
