AV Live - [Live8 club B-day, Moscow]
Live / Live8
Performing at the birthday celebration for Moscow's underground Live8 club, the artists delivered a raw, hardware-driven live set in a highly intimate setting.
The work
The visual focus of the performance was a singular, intensely bright blue laser beam that pierced through the dense fog directly from the level of their equipment table.
In detail
Surrounded by synthesizers, cables, and guitar effect pedals, the duo constructed a relentless, lo-fi electronic soundscape. The blinding light and heavy smoke reduced their physical presence to mere silhouettes controlling the machinery.
